Position Purpose
We are looking to hire a Registered Nurse for our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in Nampa! This position will be located at our Medical Center () off I-84 and Garrity Blvd. This is a full-time, night shift position, approximately 36 hours per week.
As an RN at Saint Alphonsus Health System, you will provide hands-on patient care while collaborating with colleagues, maintaining accurate documentation, and utilizing resources wisely. You will serve as a patient advocate by promoting their physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being. You will also be expected to educate patients, administer prescribed medications and treatments, and develop care plans based on patient needs. Will also support postpartum unit on occasion.
What You Will Do :
RN's working on the intensive care unit (NICU) will care for infants at our level II NICU. We are a fast-paced department that thrives on teamwork and passion to provide excellent care. Our ideal candidate is a dedicated team player who loves to learn and truly enjoys their calling in critical care nursing.
Minimum Qualifications :
Demonstrated team, analysis, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Intermediate computer skills including medical record keeping
Ability to work with a wide variety of people under adverse conditions
1 year of RN acute care experience required (NICU experience preferred)
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Idaho, Oregon RN license required at six months.
American Heart Association Basic Life Support for HealthCare Provider (BLS / HCP) certification
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required at 6 months of employment
PALS and STABLE certification required or obtained within 1 year of hire date. Recertification required every 2 years.
