Pride Health is currently seeking a Sonographer / Ultrasound Technologist to support one of our top-tier healthcare clients in San Angelo, TX . Position Details Location: San Angelo, TX Shift: 4x10s Days | Monday – Thursday Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Weekly Gross Pay: $2,100 Job Summary The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations to support patient care across multiple service areas. This role includes coverage of General, OB, and Vascular ultrasound studies , with Transcranial Doppler (TCD) exams as needed. The technologist works overnight on a Monday–Thursday schedule and may float between units, collaborating closely with physicians and clinical staff to ensure timely, accurate imaging while maintaining patient safety, comfort, and quality standards. ✅ Roles & Responsibilities Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations including General, OB, and Vascular studies Conduct Transcranial Doppler (TCD) exams as required (preferred) Provide imaging coverage across assigned units and float as needed Ensure accurate patient identification, exam documentation, and image labeling Communicate exam findings effectively with radiologists and ordering providers Maintain patient safety, comfort, and privacy throughout all procedures Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment per departmental and regulatory standards Follow established protocols, infection control, and safety guidelines Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff Participate in overnight, emergency, and time-sensitive imaging as required Requirements ARDMS (AB) or RVT certification – required Experience in General, OB, and Vascular ultrasound (strongly preferred) TCD (Transcranial Doppler) experience preferred Willingness and ability to float as required Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
