Medical Technologist

Job Summary

Perform routine and specialized laboratory assays to analyze patient specimens.

Provide critical data to assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases.

Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment within the area of specialization.

Key Responsibilities

Perform hematology procedures and analyses.

Conduct microscopic examinations, including semen and urine analysis.

Evaluate the validity of laboratory data and accurately record test results.

Ensure compliance with laboratory protocols and quality control standards.

Collaborate with medical professionals to interpret laboratory findings.

Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment as needed.

Work Monday through Friday, 8 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PM, with rotating weekends.

Required Qualifications

Hematology experience.

Proficiency in microscopy, semen analysis, and urine analysis.

ASCP certification. ¢ Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Preferred Qualifications

Certified Medical Technologist (ASCP) certification.

American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
