Electrician Position

We are seeking an Electrician to join our team in a high-paced food manufacturing environment. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment in compliance with electrical codes and food safety regulations.

Duties / Responsibilities :

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with relevant codes (e.g., NEC, local building codes).
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical components in production lines, packaging equipment, conveyors, and utility systems (motors, pumps, VFDs, PLCs).
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical systems and plant equipment.
• Assist with equipment upgrades and continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency and safety.
• Maintain documentation of electrical systems and maintenance activities (e.g., logbooks, CMMS).
• Collaborate with mechanical technicians and other departments during equipment troubleshooting and installations.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns to minimize production downtime.

Requirements

Qualifications :

Minimum 35 years of industrial electrical experience (preferably in a food manufacturing or processing environment).

Licensed Journeyman or Master Electrician a plus.
