Role Overview :

Were looking for a dedicated Part-Time Social Worker to join our Louisville team, supporting students and their families as they navigate social, emotional, and environmental challenges. In this role, youll serve as a crucial link between the school, families, and community resourceshelping to remove barriers that impact students academic success and overall well-being.

What Youll Do :

Provide supportive counseling to students facing personal, social, or behavioral difficulties

Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to develop tailored intervention plans

Connect families with vital community programs and services such as mental health, housing, and food assistance

Participate in meetings such as IEP and 504 teams to advocate for student needs

Offer crisis intervention and support during emergencies or challenging situations

Document all interactions and interventions accurately, maintaining confidentiality and compliance

Promote a positive and inclusive school environment by fostering trust and open communication

What Were Looking For :

Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program

Current Kentucky social work licensure or eligibility to obtain

Experience working with youth and families, preferably in educational or community settings

Familiarity with trauma-informed care and evidence-based social work practices

Strong skills in communication, teamwork, and problem-solving

Ability to manage time effectively and work independently when needed
