Locum Physician (MD / DO) - Occupational Medicine in Kansas

We are seeking a Doctor specializing in Occupational Medicine for a 2-day locum tenens assignment in Kansas. This opportunity starts on Dec 11, 2025, with day shifts from 7 : 00am to 5 : 00pm. The assignment involves conducting NFPA 1582 physicals, respirator clearance, and working as part of a multidisciplinary team performing a range of clinical tests. Job Details Location : Kansas Start Date : Dec 11, 2025 LOA : 2 days Provider Type Needed : Occupational Medicine Physician Schedule : 7 : 00am - 5 : 00pm with a lunch break; 1 exam every 15-20 minutes Responsibilities and Duties Conduct NFPA 1582 physical examinations for firefighters Perform respirator clearance and interim firefighter clearance Review EKGs, ultrasound results, and stress tests Work alongside the team to perform clinical testing, including hearing, vision, laboratory tests, pulmonary function, cardiograms, and x-rays Complete mandatory hernia examinations; rectal exams are optional Ensure timely completion of exams (approximately one every 15 minutes) Additional Information Firefighter physical or occupational medicine experience strongly preferred Must be able to read EKGs Required certification : Basic Life Support (BLS) Must hold a valid Kansas medical license Family Nurse Practitioner Certification (FNP) is listed as a required board certification Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
