Facility :

This medical center is part of an established healthcare network providing comprehensive orthopedic services to the West Texas region. The facility is a Level 2 trauma center with strong provider support, including 5 APPs available to assist with patient care both day and night.

Opportunity :

Board Certified / Board Eligible - Orthopedic Surgery

Job Details :

• Weekend call coverage once per month (Friday 7am to Monday 7am)
• Beeper call only - no requirement to remain on-site the entire weekend
• 5 APPs available both day and night to provide first-line assistance
• Provider only called if additional support is needed
• Texas medical license required
• BLS, ACLS, and ATLS certifications required
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 60-90 days
• Preferred skills include : arthroscopy, total joint replacement (hip / knee), hand surgery, tendon release / repair, and peripheral nerve surgery
• Start date February 2026 with possibility of earlier start (January) with temporary privileges for providers with clean files

Compensation :

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
