CEO Technologies is a rapidly growing, Inc. 5000, company that specializes in technology services. We are currently seeking a Security Technician to join our field service team.

As a Security Technician, you will be the expert in the field of Security for our customer's. In this role, you will install and troubleshoot security issues at the customer's home or business. Majority of the work in this position will involve identifying, addressing and resolving technical complications in-person and on-site. The basic duties of this position are to document all interactions and operations in our ticketing software and to ensure the customer is well informed on the resolution of their issue or installation. Other important duties may include connected products such as Smart Home / Business Devices, Residential / Commercial Surveillance, and Commercial Access Control. This is a full-time, shift-based position that includes a rotating on-call requirement.

Computer and networking experience is helpful, but not a requirement for this position. This position does offer room for growth within the company to the various departments and services we offer.

Daily Duties :

  • Install, maintain, and / or repair security Alarm Systems, Surveillance devices, and Access Control equipment while following blueprints of electrical layouts and building plans.
  • Mount and fasten control panels, door and window contacts, sensors, or video cameras and attach electrical and telephone wiring to connect components.
  • Position equipment using hand tools, power tools, or heavy equipment.
  • Ability to educate the customer on the Security System and other features such as the causes and consequences of false alarms and general operations.
  • Explain use of additional products or services that CEO Technologies offers.
  • Test and repair circuits and sensors, following wiring and system specifications.
  • Test electrical circuits or components for proper functioning.
  • Feed cables through access holes, roof spaces, or cavity walls to reach fixture outlets, positioning and terminating cables, wires, or strapping.
  • Examine systems to locate problems, such as loose connections or broken insulation.
  • Test backup batteries, keypad programming, sirens, or other security features to ensure proper functioning or to diagnose malfunctions.
  • Requires a Security Certification to be acquired and renewed every 2 years. Not required for hire.

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : From $16 - $20 / hr depending on experience
