Responsibilities include alleviating pain, preventing physical dysfunction, performing therapy interventions using standard techniques, and supervising physical therapy assistants and support personnel. You may also evaluate, fit, and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices, document goals and progress, and administer treatments using equipment such as moist packs, lamps, and ultrasound machines.

Required qualifications include a Doctorate of Physical Therapy or Bachelor's Degree, a Physical Therapist License in Kentucky, and Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
