The Role : Interlink Security Internship Program

Information security is the hottest section of the IT job market and most of todays innovation is done in the cloud with Microsoft leading the way. At Interlink Cloud Advisors we are seeking talented individuals for our paid security internship program. Our program focuses on developing technical and business skills in security over a multi-year program ideally culminating with a full-time consulting role with Interlink upon graduation.

Year 1 : Work on the Interlink Microsoft Service Desk where youll have an opportunity to work on level 1 and level 2 tickets while learning the basics of IT service management and delivery and core elements of the Microsoft 365 stack. The internship would include shadowing customer projects and working on internal processes and technical improvements.

Years 2 and 3 : Continue with the Interlink Microsoft Service Desk while taking on more advanced tickets and responsibilities within our security operations center. Interns would be encouraged to pursue Microsoft certifications (Interlink will cover the costs) in Identity and Access Management Security Operations and / or Modern Device Management. Opportunities to participate in project delivery under the supervision of a senior consultant will be available.

Responsibilities

• Identify create and execute IT strategies and support for our Enterprise Mid-Market and SMB customers
• Provide technical support for various IT systems including Office 365 Windows Tune Microsoft Azure Microsoft Exchange Microsoft Lync Active Directory Windows Server Windows Desktop MS System Center Suite and other general IT infrastructure SAN storage networking etc.
• Provide second and third-level user support. We outsource level-one
