Job descriptionMix of Inpatient and Outpatient setting. Average volume of 7-10 outpatients per day. Average volume of 3-4 hospital consults per day. Only 7 days per month still available starting March 2026. 24-hour shift coverage with clinic and rounding. Clinic is only 4 hours (8a-12p) followed by hospital rounding. Cases include Inpatient and Outpatient. Reading EMG, read EEG, and continuous EEG. Provide hospital consults as needed. Overnight call 1-2 per night, typically not required to be present in person. Teleneurology utilized for all strokes. No call required for your off days. Must have Illinois state license for consideration. Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years in Neurology. 24 months of experience required. Must hold a current CSR. Credentialing timeframe is 120 days. Bridge employment gaps or transitions between permanent positions by taking on locum assignments, maintaining income and professional engagement during transitional periods.
