Summary

Billet Industries is expanding its Weekend Crew and hiring a CNC Setup Machinist experienced in mills or lathes. This role requires independent setups, tight-tolerance aerospace / defense work, and a strong ownership mindset. Work a 36-hour weekend schedule inside a stable, long-standing precision machining environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete CNC setups on mills or lathes from raw material to finished parts
• Read and follow travelers, blueprints, and GD&T requirements
• Set tooling, fixturing, and offsets; complete program prove-outs
• Make minor G-code edits when needed
• Run tight-tolerance parts in small- to mid-lot quantities
• Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections using metrology tools
• Support deburring and finishing steps
• Maintain a clean, organized 5S workstation
• Coordinate with weekend quality and engineering support
