Physician - Pulmonology Tacoma

Summary : Franciscan Pulmonary Associates is looking for 1-2 Pulmonologists to provide full time coverage beginning as soon as providers are credentialed. Looking for local candidates, no flights and within drive in distance.

(5 days / week through July 2025).

Start Date : As soon as credentialed through 07 / 2025

Orientation : 2 days of shadowing / unit training prior to first shift. EPIC and Coding training must be complete prior to first shift (this is coordinated directly between EPIC / Coding and provider AFTER credentialing begins, it is the Agency's responsibility to ensure the provider is aware this must be scheduled and completed prior to first shift). Onsite Epic clinic support provided for a half day as well.

RATE Caps for Submission :

Malpractice - Must be included in rates.

Orientation - half the hourly / callback rate

• kicks in after 8 hours. "Per hour of orientation or training beyond 8 hours"

Holiday - Must be 1.5x the regular rate

Fulltime clinic coverage

The structure of the day is an outpatient clinic, 8am - 5pm, 5 days per week. There will be 1 / 2 day to 1 day per week dedicated to procedure time (Bronchs), depending on the need of the individual provider. All other items listed under "procedures" fall under outpatient management within the clinic. PFTs are performed by RTs and read by the providers.

outpatient, pulmonology, internal medicine (preferred),

Pulmonary function testing- performance of and interpretation

Ventilation management

Non-invasive (BiPAP / CPAP)

Bronchoscopy

Not Required : ICU, consults only, critical care intensivist.

Patients per day : 16 averages

EMR : EPIC

Support Staff : Medical Assistant, RN, Surgery Scheduler, RT, Referral Coordinator

Worksite Resources : Lab onsite, Xray, PFT

Reason for Coverage : open shifts

Dealbreakers : providers not willing to work clinic only, providers wanting ICU experience, or providers wanting remote work. Please do not inquire or submit.

Pulmonology Residency / Fellowship - REQUIRED

Active BLS - REQUIRED (Needs to note willing to obtain if not active)

Clean Malpractice / Background - HIGHLY PREFERRED\

Availability at time of name clear - Required - must provide minimum 30 days of availability from providers start date. Providers who provide specific and accurate availability will be considered first. Vague availability will be reviewed last. Black out dates required.

Vendors are now required to compile all presentation documents for a locum into a single PDF file.
