As a Transport Driver, you will play a vital role in transporting our residents to and from medical appointments, therapy sessions, and other off-site activities. Responsibilities :

Safely transport residents to and from off-site medical appointments, therapy sessions, and other activities

Ensure the comfort and well-being of our residents during transportation

Maintain accurate records of transportation activities and resident information

Utilize GPS and mapping technology to optimize routes and reduce travel time

Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure timely and effective transportation arrangements

Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicle to ensure safety and cleanliness

Report any vehicle issues or concerns to the Transportation Manager

Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, adhering to facility policies and regulations

Requirements :

Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record

Ability to lift, push, or pull equipment weighing up to 50 pounds

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Familiarity with GPS and mapping technology

High school diploma or equivalent required
