PET CT Tech

Shift : 10 Hour Days

Location : Newark, DE

Responsibilities

• Perform PET / CT imaging procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and contrast agents following radiation safety standards.
• Operate PET / CT scanners and related imaging equipment to produce diagnostic-quality images.
• Verify patient identity and obtain relevant clinical information to ensure accurate studies.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient and scan records in PACS / RIS systems.
• Follow ALARA principles and all radiation safety regulations.
• Collaborate with physicians, physicists, and other technologists to ensure optimal imaging outcomes.
• Perform quality control and calibration of imaging equipment as required.
• Provide compassionate patient care and clear communication throughout the procedure.

Qualifications

ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification in Nuclear Medicine

Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
