Admissions and Long Term Care Nurse (RN) Part Time

• Lyngblomsten, a 225-bed care center located in Saint Paul near Como Park, is in search of a Part Time Admissions and Long Term Care Nurse!
• This position will be Admissions Nurse on Fridays and Long Term Care Nurse every other weekend.    The posted pay range of this hourly position is $35.95 to $46.80. The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions.

• Hiring at the maximum of the range is not typical.

Responsibilities :

Conducts new patient intake, including review and input of physician admission orders, facility protocols,  initial assessments, and unit orientation Completes discharge paperwork, reviews with patient and / or responsible party and assures coordination of services Provides superior customer service, maintaining a high level of mental and emotional tolerance, sensitivity, diplomacy, sound judgment, and professional attitude when dealing with patients, families, partners and co-workers All other duties as assigned Qualifications :
