Carvers on 19, located on the top floor of the Hard Rock Hotel, seeks a dedicated and experienced Fine Dining Host / Hostess to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, composure under pressure, a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a passion for providing outstanding hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Warmly and professionally greet guests, creating a welcoming first impression.
- Escort guests efficiently, manage wait times, and ensure optimal table utilization.
- Coordinate with waitstaff and culinary team to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
- Promptly and courteously address guest inquiries and concerns.
- Maintain knowledge of the menu, venue history, and resort property.
- Assist with various restaurant operations, including managing reservations, phone calls, and administrative tasks.
- Ensure a high level of cleanliness and organization at the host stand and dining areas.
Qualifications
At least one year of experience as a host / hostess in a full-service restaurant. Fine dining experience a plus.Genuine passion for providing outstanding customer service.Strong ability to build rapport with guests and colleagues, resolve issues professionally, and convey information clearly and concisely, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Required food safety certification and alcohol service licensing by the appropriate regulatory agency.Ability to stand for long periods and lift objects up to 50 pounds.
