Job description

POSITION SUMMARY :

A marketing assistant is responsible for supporting the marketing efforts of a company or organization. They assist in the planning, execution, and tracking of marketing campaigns and initiatives to promote products or services and increase brand awareness.

Customer Service duties may include a combination of answering telephones, order entry, quoting, and handling product questions. Interact with customers over the phone and via email to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services, and to handle and resolve any questions.

MARKETING ASSISTANT ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

  • Marketing Campaign Support : Assist in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns across various channels, such as digital, social media, email, print, and events.
  • Content Creation : Assist in creating and editing marketing content, including blog posts, social media updates, website copy, and promotional materials.
  • Event Coordination : Assist in planning and coordinating marketing events, including company events, trade shows, conferences, webinars, and product launches.
  • Digital Marketing : Support digital marketing efforts, including managing social media accounts, monitoring online advertising campaigns, and analyzing website traffic and performance.
  • Brand Management : Assist in maintaining brand consistency across all marketing channels and materials.
  • Collaboration : Collaborate with internal teams, such as sales, design, and product development, to ensure alignment and effective execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Administrative Tasks : Handle administrative tasks related to marketing activities, such as event organization, training, supplies, etc.

CUSTOMER SERVICE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

  • Prepare orders obtained and submit orders for processing.
  • Confer with customers by telephone or email to provide information about products or services, pricing, availability, credit terms, take or enter orders, cancel accounts, or obtain details of complaints.
  • Keep records of customer interactions or transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken.
  • Resolve customers' service or billing questions by performing activities such as exchanging merchandise, refunding money, or adjusting bills.
  • Compare disputed merchandise with original requisitions and information from invoices and prepare invoices for returned goods.
  • Complete customer onboarding in Business Central.
  • Communicate with customers, employees, and visitors to answer questions, explain information, take orders, and / or address complaints.

  • KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION :

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes external and internal customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems, such as Microsoft Office (Excel / Word / etc.) and Business Central, and other office procedures and terminology.
