Details :  Critical Access Hospital

• ICU Beds :   0; Up to 4 Intermediate Care Beds located within Acute Care Unit
• Acute Beds : 1 9 with occasional medical overflow on the LDRP Unit

Observation :

Acuity :   CHF, COPD, Pneumonia, DKA

Subspecialty Support :   Neurology (Outpt. clinic only), General Surgery, &Anesthesia

Anesthesia is in house M-F  from 7 : 00 am to 3 : 00 pm  with after hours and weekend call.

General Surgery is available most weeks M-Th.  Limited after-hours coverage. There is no weekend coverage for General Surgery.

Lumbar Puncture

Paracentesis / Thoracentesis

Intubations

Active ME License  or the ability to obtain

Providers have a private office space as well as space with private bathroom  and shower

o           Linens and housekeeping provided

Providers are provided 3 full meals a day from the dietary department.

wRVU model :

wRVU Threshold -18 average over the quarter

wRVU payment - $29.69 for any wRVUs generated (Average is 18 so you would be looking at around an additional $534.42+ per shift)
