Job descriptionPost Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Minimum 1-year previous working experience as a RN-Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Ability to build rapport with patients Compassionate and caring demeanor Familiarity with medical terminology CPR card issued by the American Heart Association Must have up to date certification in the state of CA MAB (Management of Assaultive Behavior) Fire Card Monitor patients as they wake up from anesthesia Check vital signs and assess for pain, nausea, or complications Provide oxygen and manage airways if needed Administer pain medications and other post-op treatments Ensure patient safety and comfort during recovery Communicate with surgeons and anesthesia providers about patient status Educate patients and families about post-op care and discharge instructions Document all care and observations accurately Follow infection control and safety procedures Prepare patients for transfer to their next level of care (unit or discharge)

Pay Rate : $74 / hour
Shifts Available :
- Days, Nights Weekends and Holidays
- 12 hours
- Minimum of 1 shifts per week or as needed
