Hematologist / Oncologist

Physician Affiliate Group of New York  ( PAGNY ) is adding a  Hematologist / Oncologist  to the group at  NYC Health + Hospitals / Harlem . The Hospital is part of the ? NYC Health + Hospitals.  Harlem Hospital is a designated Level 2 Trauma Center and is recognized for providing centers of excellence in the areas of Bariatric Surgery, Breast Imaging and Sexual Assault Forensics. Our teams provide services for nearly 213,000 outpatient visits, more than 83,000 emergency room visits and over 13,000 inpatient admissions annually. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with  Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons . To maintain its high healthcare delivery standards.

Opportunity Details :

• Consult with patients with hematological disorders.
• Conduct wide-ranging research toward the prevention and the treatment of blood disorders such as anemia, sickle-cell disease, leukemia, and hemophilia.
• Educate medical residents, students, other physicians, and various medical professionals.
• Provide consultation in both the inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Assist in developing a robust sickle cell program and assist in the transition of sickle cell patients from pediatrics to adult medicine.

Qualifications

Wages and Benefits include :

Annual Base Salary : $342,000

The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $471,720

Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.

Additional employee-paid Voluntary Life and AD&D coverage is available for you and your family.

The annual base salary listed complies with the New York City law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements.
