Job Description
D'Leon Consulting Engineers is seeking an Office Engineer in Los Angeles, CA.
Responsibilities
- Assist the T2 project team in the receipt, distribution and maintenance of submittals. Perform construction contract correspondence, document and plan control function, input data into PM Web, and prepare management information status report, as required.
- Update and maintain logs for submittals and RFIs in PM Web, the project information system.
- Maintain project files and document / submittal management systems (hard and electronic copies). Work with the Contractor(s) to ensure the drawings are posted efficiently and in a timely manner. Distribute documents, submittals and RFIs for review; track and compile responses / review comments, obtain management approval and issue responses to Contractor(s).
- Manipulate electronic files of various formats to create exhibits for presentations and meetings.
- Complete other responsibilities and assist as assigned to support the project such as : attend and document project meetings (write agendas and minutes), perform expediting functions, and prepare and maintain an expediting log; etc.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in engineering, construction management, airport administration, or other related fieldOptional certifications may include AAAE, LEED, PE, PMP, AICP, etc. or any other relevant professional license or certifications.Five years or more experience, preferably on airport projects or environmentsExperience supporting Multiple Award Task Order Contracts.Excellent written and oral communication skills and a thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulationsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and BluebeamExperience with Project Management Implementation Systems; ability to work in PM Web preferredDLeon Consulting Engineers is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering an inclusive and respectful workplace.
