Schedule : 12-hour night shifts including weekends from 6 : 30 PM to 7 : 00 AM.
Your Role :
As a Respiratory Therapist, you will deliver critical respiratory care throughout the hospital, as outlined in our Pulmonary Services manual. You will be responsible for the assessment and evaluation of patients, ensuring optimal care delivery, and providing recommendations based on changing needs.
Your Responsibilities :
Respond to emergencies promptly and perform patient assessments.Demonstrate understanding of Code Blue and Rapid Response procedures.Ensure emergency supply readiness and perform respiratory care per physician orders.Conduct appropriate blood gas evaluations and act based on results.Follow the AIDET model (Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation, Thank) at all times.Demonstrate proficiency with various respiratory devices and ventilators.Document care accurately in hospital systems.Qualifications : Required :
Associate's Degree or completion of a Technical School in Respiratory Therapy1 year of relevant experiencePreferred :
Bachelor's DegreeCertification as a Pulmonary Function Tech2 years of clinical experience for new graduates may substitute for 1 year of work experienceLicensure and Certifications :
