Maintenance Supervisor

Job Description

Large Automotive Manufacturing company located in the Jackson Michigan area is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor (2 openings - one on day shift and one on night shift).

JOB DUTIES

• Assist the Maintenance Manager for the efficient use of the departments manpower, materials, parts and other resources under their supervision.
• Coordinates maintenance efforts between shifts to achieve accurate changeover to quickly resolve downtime carry over issues then discusses long term fixes plaguing issues.
• Oversee the development of journeyman and technicians under their supervision.
• Guides shift to maintain CMMS information accuracy and effectiveness to include work orders, PM tasks, and detailed information as required.
• Involved with continuous improvement on Preventive Maintenance systems and ensure job functions are serving proper purpose to eliminate downtime
• Involved in Root Cause analysis or Kaizen events. and maintains work areas in a safe and orderly fashion including 5-S Standards
