Transition Consultant – Marshall County

Location : Primarily Marshall County, with possible assignments in surrounding counties (secondary and postsecondary schools)

Pay : $17.18 / hour (paid over 52 weeks; equivalent to $22.33 / hour for 40 weeks of work)

Schedule : Full-time, 40 hours per week aligned with the school-year schedule

About the Role

Join Cardinal Services as a Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) Transition Consultant!

In this rewarding role, you’ll help students with disabilities (ages 14–22) prepare for meaningful futures through hands-on learning, self-advocacy, and career exploration. You’ll collaborate with schools, families, employers, and Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) counselors to help students build confidence, develop job skills, and explore education and employment opportunities.

Responsibilities

Deliver group and individual Pre-ETS services such as career exploration, workplace readiness, and self-advocacy instruction.

Support students in developing employment skills and participating in work-based learning experiences.

Collaborate with schools, VR counselors, families, and community employers.

Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with program standards.

Participate in required training and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

Experience working positively and professionally with youth.

Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.

Comfortable leading group activities and adapting to diverse learning needs.

Must pass all background checks.

Must hold a valid driver’s license (3+ years) and have reliable transportation with active auto insurance.
