In the summer with live outdoor dramas such as The Wizard of Oz or The Aracoma Story at the Liz Spurlock Amphitheater located in Chief Logan State Park. The city hosts a Civil War Reenactment each September. During October, the Shawnee Trail Encampment features daily frontier living, exhibits by artisans, craftsmen and Buckskinners portraying characters from the 1780s to the 1800s.
