Job description

LocumJobsOnline is working with AAS Locum Tenens to find a qualified Oncology MD in Muskegon, Michigan, 49445!

About The Position

We are

seeking an experienced Locums Radiation Oncology Physician to provide ongoing

coverage at a free-standing cancer center in Muskegon, Michigan. The ideal

candidate will be board certified or board eligible in Radiation Oncology and

proficient in advanced radiation treatment modalities. This is an excellent

opportunity to join a collaborative, patient-centered team serving adult

oncology patients in a community-based, hospital-affiliated setting.

Assignment

Details :

Setting : Free-standing

Cancer Center (Hospital-affiliated; Level II Trauma Center)

Schedule : Monday–Friday,

7 : 30 AM–4 : 00 PM

Call Schedule : Shared 24-hour

call, 1 : 2 ratio

Patient Population : Adults,

hospital-based

  • Average Outpatients per Day : 10–15

Duration : Ongoing, with

potential to extend

EMR Systems : Aria &

Epic

Scope of

Practice :

  • Conventional Radiotherapy
  • 3D Conformal Radiotherapy

    (3D-CRT)

    Image-Guided Radiation Therapy

    (IGRT)

    Intensity-Modulated Radiation

    Therapy (IMRT)

  • Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS)
  • Stereotactic Body Radiation

    Therapy (SBRT)

    Fractionated Stereotactic

    Radiotherapy

    Responsibilities :

    Perform patient consultations and

    follow-ups.

    Develop and oversee

    individualized radiation treatment plans.

    Supervise on-treatment patient

    care and daily clinical operations.

    Order and interpret imaging and

    diagnostic studies.

    Collaborate with a

    multidisciplinary oncology team to ensure optimal treatment outcomes.

    Document patient encounters

    accurately in Aria and Epic.

    Participate in shared call

    coverage.

    Requirements :

    Board Certified or Board Eligible

    in Radiation Oncology

    Active Michigan License or IMLC

    with LOQ in hand

  • BLS Certification required
  • Experience with Aria and Epic

    preferred
