We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.This role is crucial in supporting our commitment to food safety, quality, and continuous improvement.?
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with the production team to minimize equipment downtime and enhance productivity.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and company policies.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment as needed.?
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred.Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment; food industry experience is a plus.Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.Familiarity with PLCs, VFDs, and automated control systems is advantageous.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying environmental conditions.Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.?
