The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various areas of law, including but not limited to civil litigation and small claims, estate planning and administration, business law, and personal injury law. This role requires excellent negotiation skills, legal research capabilities, and the ability to draft and file legal documents effectively and limited supervision. The Litigation Attorney will represent clients in court and other legal proceedings while ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.ResponsibilitiesRepresent clients in litigation matters across multiple areas of law including estate planning and administration, landlord-tenant law, real estate law, and international law.Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as Thomson Reuters and Westlaw to support case preparation.Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and briefs with precision and clarity.Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients while maintaining a focus on their best interests.Prepare for trials by organizing evidence, developing case strategies, and collaborating with other attorneys as needed.Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may impact client cases or the firms practice areas.Provide legal advice to clients regarding their rights and obligations under the law.Maintain accurate records of case files and ensure all documentation is complete and compliant with legal standards.QualificationsJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the bar in Arizona.1-2 years experience in civil litigation.Proven experience in litigation with a strong understanding of various practice areas such as patent law, tribal law & regulations, and environmental law.Excellent writing skills with experience in legal drafting and documentation.Strong research skills with familiarity in using legal research databases like LexisNexis and Westlaw.Prior experience in a law office setting is preferred.Exceptional negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases simultaneously.Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
