Great Hill Solutions is seeking a highly motivated Senior Model Based Systems Engineering Specialist (MBSE) to provide and support our government customer with on-site model based systems engineering support. This position will be on-site in Patuxent River, Maryland.

This position will entail supporting the Naval Air Systems Command (NavAir), in particular, the Digital Analytics, Infrastructure and Technology Advancement (DAiTA) Group. Additionally, they will act as subject matter experts in MBSE by working with engineering management to develop processes and best practices; support the development and implementation of verification and validation methods; and mentor team members in MBSE concepts and tools.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

Supports systems engineering functions by developing executable architectures, system models, simulations, or analysis of architectures (Enterprise, SoS, Systems, components, etc.) to model inter-relationships of all positions and activities in the system, including the impact of changes in one area on another area

• This includes the ability to see and understand the inter-relationships between components of systems, plans and technical and non-technical processes, anticipate future events, and apply the principles of systems thinking to accelerate performance
• Utilizes knowledge of object modeling or object oriented design concepts and techniques, including exposure to either UML or SysML in crafting of digital system models (defining and analyzing behaviors, interfaces, and parametric)

Establish and manage digital representations of the weapon system's technical baselines.
