RN Triage

Description

: The

RN Triage position is responsible for assessing patient health

problems and needs via telephone contact with

patient / parent / guardian. The goal of the RN Triage position is to

support clinic practices by using established protocols for

communication with the patient / parents / guardian in a way that

supports patient-centered care. Proper triage and escalation of

cases to the clinic providers is a key function of the position.

Education : ▪ Required : Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing

Experience : ▪ Required : None ▪ Preferred : Previous nursing

experience, especially in outpatient or ambulatory clinic setting

Skills :

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able

to work independently and collaboratively in teams.
