Development Manager (Austin)

Development Manager BESS - Austin, TX Onsite

We are looking for an experienced and driven Development Manager to oversee and coordinate the advancement of our U.S. renewable energy and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects. In this role, you will lead due diligence efforts across technical, environmental, permitting, financial, and regulatory areas while working closely with both internal teams and external partners. Your leadership will guide projects from early development through financing, construction, and into operations. This position is pivotal in strengthening our development capabilities and supporting the companys vision of building a sustainable energy future.

Core Responsibilities

• Project Development : Drive the development of large-scale renewable energy and BESS projects, ensuring progress from concept through execution.
• Stakeholder Engagement : Act as the primary liaison with landowners, utilities, regulators, and consultants spanning legal, financial, technical, and environmental disciplines.
• Project Oversight : Manage deliverables, schedules, budgets, and risks, ensuring projects remain on track and aligned with strategic objectives.
• Risk & Budget Management : Monitor project financials and timelines while implementing mitigation strategies across the development cycle.
