WORK TYPE : Onsite

LOCATION DETAILS : 4 days onsite at Farmers Branch Headquarters, with Friday as a flex day.

WORK HOURS : Full time, Exempt

TRAVEL REQUIREMENT : 10%

How You Will Make An Impact

The Graphic Designer will create designs within a specific category or product segment, utilizing current artwork, manipulating graphics, and developing original concepts that reflect BSN Sports and Varsity Brands' ethos while meeting customer needs.

What You Will Do

  • Use computerized systems effectively in the design process.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure design feasibility, meet merchandising needs and deadlines, and utilize design tools effectively.
  • Understand products, product lines, development processes, and target markets.
  • Perform administrative duties related to the department.
  • Support and adhere to company policies and guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

  • Proficiency with computerized design systems.
  • Team-oriented approach to design, ensuring feasibility and meeting deadlines.
  • Transform 2D garment patterns into realistic 3D models using Clo3D, Blender, or similar software.
  • Optimize models for rendering and web use.
  • Maintain organized files for collaboration.
  • Enhance workflow efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborate with designers and developers to improve customization and user experience.
  • Understand product development and market specifics.
  • Perform departmental administrative duties.
  • Follow company policies and guidelines.
  • Other duties as assigned.

    • Education / Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Design or related field.
  • At least 2 years of relevant apparel graphics experience preferred.
  • Strong graphic design skills including drawing, typography, color, and layout.
  • Advanced 3D modeling, texturing, and UV mapping skills.
  • Experience with Clo3D or Marvelous Designer for garment construction.

    • Physical Requirements

    This role is primarily sedentary, requiring the ability to sit or stand for long periods, lift files, and operate office equipment as needed.
