  • Shift : 4x10 Days (Sunday-Wednesday, 07 : 00 - 17 : 00) | Weekends : Yes (Every Sunday) | Call : Yes (2-3 nights / week)

Requirements

  • License : State License Required | Compact : No
  • Certs : BLS, ARRT-R, ARRT-CT
  • Experience : 1 year required
  • EMR : Epic
  • Compliance : Background check; flu vaccine status is unknown
  • Locals : No (must reside at least 50 miles from the facility)
  • RTO Policy : All RTO must be included with submittal

    • Responsibilities

  • Perform CT scans using GE 16 slice scanner and X-ray coverage with Siemens portable and GE C-arm for MBS studies.
  • Maintain patient safety and comfort while conducting imaging procedures.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media as required for examinations.
  • Ensure proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials as per safety protocols.
  • Document procedures accurately in the Epic charting system.
  • Float to Providence Alaska Medical Center as needed based on facility requirements.

  • Free parking is available for staff.
  • Scrubs can be any color.
  • Travelers must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
  • Permanent staff must be separated from Providence for a minimum of 3 months to return as travelers.
  • Housing options may be limited, so travelers should explore accommodations in the area.
  • Note : This position may require floating between Saint Elias Specialty Hospital and Providence Alaska Medical Center as necessary.
