Engineering Solutions Analytics Lead

Job Description

As the ORBIS Analytics for Engineering Solutions Lead, you will be the ORBIS lead in assisting our project teams with data analysis, modeling and simulation to enable development of successful engineering solutions for our Government Services customers. In parallel this position will also support internal ORBIS initiatives in fostering adoption of appropriate AI capabilities by company personnel.

• You will provide direct support to our client facing Government Services project teams. As an experienced and innovative leader of analytics, you will lead ORBIS efforts to identify, quantify, and address gaps between current state analytic capabilities and future state capabilities across project teams. This includes coordinating with project teams and subject matter experts to further ORBIS capabilities and capacity for different types of analyses that provide value to our customers. As a collaborator and change agent, you will act as a liaison between the project teams and ORBIS leadership charged with growing ORBIS capabilities.
• You will report to the Director level in ORBIS' Government Services business area and work in a matrix fashion with a range of project teams across the company including direct project support and internal development projects. Experience guiding and mentoring data analysts and modelers will be necessary to develop engineering solutions across multiple high value projects.
• You will join a self-organizing team of professionals with deep subject matter expertise that spans all competencies from production and operations to sustainment. You must be able to act as a subject matter expert in data analysis, analytics, modeling, simulation and the latest developments in artificial intelligence / machine learning (AI / ML) and draw on company subject matter experts for domain knowledge to accelerate the impact of project team engineering solutions.
