As an MSW Psychiatric Liaison , you’ll be at the heart of that mission-working as part of a multidisciplinary team committed to delivering exceptional psychiatric care across the lifespan. Our behavioral health team is a strong, collaborative unit made up of social workers, psychiatric and medical providers, nurses, behavioral health technicians, mental health workers, health unit coordinators, chaplains, and recreational therapists. Together, we create a supportive and healing environment for patients, their families, and our colleagues. What You’ll Do :

Working under the direction of the Director of Inpatient Behavioral Health Programs and the Manager of Care Coordination, you will :

• Deliver expert psychosocial assessments and clinical diagnoses
• Develop and implement individualized treatment and discharge plans
• Coordinate aftercare services to support successful transitions post-discharge
• Provide individual, group, and / or family psychotherapy, as needed
• Serve as a key liaison to the mental health courts-conducting legal coordination including interviews, witness substitution, and court documentation
• Manage all aspects of the court-ordered evaluation and treatment process for a patient population where over 90% of adults are hospitalized under legal mandate
• Partner with community agencies and leverage patients’ natural supports to ensure the most effective, person-centered care
