Project Accountant

The Project Accountant reports to the Controller in our Norcross, GA office. The Project Accountant supports our project teams with the day-to-day administration of project finances. This is a great opportunity for an early-career professional to learn project accounting in a professional services environment while working closely with our Controller and Team Leaders / Project Managers in multiple offices. You'll receive training on our systems and processes and will gradually take ownership of your own set of projects as you grow in the role!

Essential Duties

Contract & Project Setup

• Set up new projects in our system based on approved proposals, including correct fee allocation to profit centers
• Maintain basic familiarity with the status and key details of assigned projects
• Help keep project information organized and up to date

Invoicing & Billing

Accounts Receivable / Collections

Accounts Payable Support

Team Leader / Project Manager Support
