Job Summary

The Minnesota Veterans Home (MVH)in Bemidjiis seeking to fill an intermittent Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) position to join our growing, amazing nursing team.

An intermittent employee works an irregular and uncertain schedule, based on the needs of the home. Intermittent employees must be available to work all shifts and some weekends. Shifts are : Day shift 6 : 00am-2 : 30pm, Evening shift2 : 00pm-10 : 30pm, Night Shift 10 : 00pm-6 : 30am. Current State of Minnesota employees will not be considered for concurrent appointments at this time due to overtime considerations and the irregular work schedule requirements of this position.

As a CNA for the MVH-Bemidji, you willprovidecompassionate, person-centered care for residents in a long-term nursing facility. Assist with activities of daily living, ensure safety and quality of care are provided, and help residents to attain their highest functional capabilities in an environment that promotes caring, respect, and values the individual.

This position is not initially eligible for health and dental insurance benefits.
