The Department of Undergraduate Nursing at Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Nursing to serve as a core faculty member in the area of pediatrics within the Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree program. The home campus for this position is Bloomsburg with the expectation of serving a multi-campus University within the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education. Duties

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing pediatrics position encompasses classroom and clinical teaching for BSN students at the Bloomsburg campus. The position may also require teaching in one of our other degree programs in either an on-campus or online environment based on need and faculty expertise. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to excellence in teaching research and service and show potential for a productive research / scholarship program. Professional development support is available to support ongoing research. Commonwealth University faculty are expected to serve as academic advisors and mentors for its students. The successful candidate will need to complete distance education training programs as made available by the University within two years of hire for the purpose of teaching in a multi-campus environment with remote teaching needs.
