REQUIRED PROCEDURES

Acute inpatient care procedures as required by hospitalist practice

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses : Active Virginia medical license required

Board : Board Certified (ABIM, ABFM, ABEM, AOBEM); ABPS not accepted

DEA : Active DEA (pending acceptable)

Certifications : ATLS, ACLS, PALS, Preeclampsia Certificate required

Experience : Residency trained, diploma required

Other Qualifications : Immunizations including Flu (within 12 months), MMR, TB (within 12 months)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide inpatient hospitalist coverage from 7a 7p shifts

Manage admissions, rounding, and acute inpatient care

Collaborate with hospital staff and available backup specialties

Document patient encounters accurately in Epic EMR

Complete onboarding requirements including orientation and EMR training within timeframe
