Patient Care Coordinator
The Patient Care Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience for patients, customers, and their families. This position involves greeting individuals in person and over the phone courteously and promptly, managing patient arrivals according to the schedule, and updating arrival times as necessary. The role requires proficiency in understanding insurance processes, collecting co-pays, and outstanding balances, as well as assisting patients with necessary questionnaires. Additionally, the coordinator addresses and resolves customer issues by mobilizing required resources, schedules, and reschedules exams, and maintains a clutter-free reception area.

Work Environment :
The role involves a 40-hour work week with availability required from Monday to Friday, 7 : 30 AM to 6 : 00 PM, to accommodate early starts or late finishes as needed. Each doctor works up to 6 Saturdays per year, from 8 : 00 AM to 12 : 00 PM, resulting in a maximum of 12 Saturdays annually. The primary office is located in Denville, with occasional travel to the Short Hills office. Mileage from Denville to Short Hills is reimbursed once permanent. The office team includes two hand physicians and a supportive staff, with opportunities to build long-term relationships with patients through repeat visits.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Denville, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $22.00 / hr.
