Opportunity : BLS - Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine or Med / Peds

This is an ongoing locum tenens opportunity for board-certified / eligible physicians to join a well-established urgent care practice with multiple locations. Preference given to providers who can work consistent blocks of shifts including weekends and weekdays.

Job Details :

• Treat patients 6 months and older for urgent care needs
• Perform procedures including suturing, wound care, I&Ds, splinting
• Interpret X-rays and ECGs
• Place IVs when needed
• Work with medical assistants, scribes, and rad techs (no RN / LPN support)
• Utilize EMR system (Epic experience a plus)
• Shifts are typically 12 hours (8am-8pm) on weekdays and 8 hours (9am-5pm) on weekends
• Patient volume ranges from 30-50 encounters per shift
• Must be comfortable working independently in an urgent care setting
• Must have experience with minor procedures and diagnostic interpretation
• Opportunity to work at multiple locations in Springfield and Joplin areas

Compensation :
