Shop Assistant

Staffmark is hiring a Shop Assistant in Abita Springs, LA! This is a great opportunity for someone who's mechanically inclined and eager to learn CNC machine operations and precision manufacturing.

Pay : $14.00-$16.00 / hour (Based on experience)

Schedule : Monday-Friday, 7 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM

Responsibilities :

• Operate and monitor CNC machines to ensure proper performance
• Cut and shape parts to meet specifications
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and instructions
• Maintain machinery and keep the work area clean and organized
• Assist with general shop duties as needed
