Responsibilities

SUMMARY :

This position directly contributes to both KGP revenue and profitability by directing the overall services and operational platforms that support Supply Chain Services agreement.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following; other duties may be assigned :

  • This position is responsible for planning, development, control, and implementation of complex business strategies and initiatives.
  • This position insures that KGP provides the goods, complex services, and solutions required to meet or exceed objectives and expectations.
  • This position is responsible for the interaction from the individual contributor to the VP level within the diverse organizations.
  • This position is responsible for face to face contacts and participating on task forces on key processes and initiatives within KGP to service customer.
  • This position manages and motivates personnel to achieve financial results through revenue growth and profitability as well as the development and management of the department expense budget.
  • This position manages multi-system, multi-departmental functions across many organizations and management levels.
  • This position is responsible for providing a high level of customer service in a multimedia, high tech environment.
  • This position is responsible for producing periodic metrics describing financial and service level performance against stated and contractual objectives for the business case.
  • REQUIREMENTS :

  • Ability to manage three or more direct reports
  • Ability to manage account gross profits between $250K and $2.5M per year
  • Ability to manage account between $5M and $50M per year
  • Ability to manage between 30K and 280K order lines a year
  • SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES :

    Carries out Management responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :

    EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE

    Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or five or more years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    LANGUAGE SKILLS :

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; ability to write simple correspondence; ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the Company.
  • MATHEMATICAL SKILLS :

  • Ability to add and subtract 10-digit numbers, to multiply and divide with tens and hundreds; ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.
  • REASONING ABILITY :

  • No major critical thinking required. Work follows established job aids and business rules. Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form; ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
