We are looking for a Director of Business Transformation who will contribute to the success of the IT Team, applying their expertise in business transformation to support the achievement of team and company goals and deliver innovative, reliable solutions. In this role, the successful candidate will collaborate effectively with colleagues and cross-functional teams, demonstrate strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, and maintain a commitment to professional excellence, quality, and continuous improvement.
We are seeking a visionary and results-oriented Director of Business Transformation to lead the business-facing aspects of Program Nexus. This is not just an IT project; it is a fundamental business transformation. The successful candidate will be the primary bridge between business strategy and technological execution, ensuring the program delivers its intended value and that our organization is prepared to embrace and capitalize on the new way of working.
Strategic & Program Leadership :
- Partner with the executive steering committee and senior business leaders to champion the vision for the transformation, enabled by the three pillars (MDM, ERP, Salesforce).
- Partner with IT and Program Management to shape and govern the multi-phased roadmap, ensuring logical sequencing and managing cross-program dependencies.
- Co-chair the program's business governance council, facilitating critical decisions on global process design, data standards, and scope to ensure the enterprise's best interests are prioritized.
- Ensure effective program delivery and work closely with both internal and external stakeholders.
Program Governance & Stakeholder Management :
Serve as a key member of the program leadership team, collaborating closely with the Program Team including but not limited to Project Managers, Technical Delivery Manager, Systems Integrator (SI), and IT counterparts.Establish project baseline schedule and budget, as well as define goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes for project team.Design and execute project implementation plans, manage critical metrics and deliverables, and track performance against key financial impacts and ROI.Oversee the primary transformation workstreams, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure project adherence to timelines, pre-emptively identify obstacles and risks, and provide support to overcome challenges.Regularly communicate project updates, milestones, and challenges to the Steering Committee and other executive leadership.Organizational Change Management (OCM) :
Oversee and manage a comprehensive OCM strategy that addresses stakeholder engagement, communication, leadership alignment, and business readiness.Oversee the creation and delivery of a global training program to ensure all users are proficient and confident at go-live.Proactively identify and mitigate organizational resistance, fostering a culture of adoption and enthusiasm for Program Nexus.Business Process Reengineering (BPR) :
Manage the team of Global Process Owners (GPOs) who are responsible for leading the design and standardization of global business processes across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and other core functions.Challenge existing paradigms and drive the adoption of industry best practices, moving from customized local processes to harmonized global standards.Govern the Global Process Owner (GPO) network, empowering them to make design decisions that benefit the entire enterprise.Value Realization & Benefits Tracking :
Own the program's business case, including the definition and validation of key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial benefits.Establish a framework to track and measure the realization of program benefits both during and after implementation.Ensure that the program's scope and design choices are continuously evaluated against the business case to maximize return on investment.Continuously evaluate processes for improvements in efficiency, quality, and safety.This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Required Qualifications :
Degree : Bachelor's degree in business, technology, finance, or related field.Experience : 12+ years of professional experience, with at least 7 years in a leadership role driving large-scale business transformations.Program Leadership : Successfully directed numerous large-scale transformation initiatives, including the implementation of ERP systems (such as SAP S / 4HANA, Infor, and NetSuite), deployment of CRM platforms (with preference for Salesforce), and execution of structured Master Data Management (MDM) projects.Business Process Expertise : Deep knowledge of Business Process Reengineering (BPR) and experience redesigning end-to-end processes in a global, matrixed organization.Formal certification in Change Management (e.g., Prosci) or Project Management (e.g., PMP).Executive Presence : Exceptional communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build consensus and drive decisions among senior executives.Work Environment & Physical Requirements :
This role primarily operates in an office environment. Competitive base salary range : $180,000 - $195,000Our compensation philosophy : we offer competitive pay based on market data, including local, national, and industry benchmarks. For new hires, offers are generally within the established min- to mid-point of the range for the role, with flexibility to recognize experience, skills, and education.
