Today we are hiring a Hybrid, EPIC Physician Billing Analyst for our client in Hicksville, NY. The position is a  Mid-senior level and you'll need to have at least 5 years of experience. A bachelor degree and have the Accounting / Auditing as a job function.This is a Computer Software industry and the compensation is $121,000-$150,000 yrly.

Note : All new hires must be aware and comfortable that this role requires 5 days per week onsite during training. After training, it transitions to a hybrid schedule with Monday, Tuesday, and Friday in-office in Hicksville / Garden City, NY

Location : Hicksville, NY to start but office will move to Garden City, NY.

• An Epic Physician Billing Analyst (also known as an Epic Professional Billing Analyst) is responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of the Epic Professional Billing module within a healthcare organization.
• This role is vital for ensuring accurate patient billing, claims processing, and reimbursement for services provided by individual healthcare providers, such as doctors or therapists.

The Key Responsibilities :

Configure and customize the Epic Professional Billing application to meet the specific business needs and workflows of the organization.

Analyze existing financial workflows and identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.

Act as the primary support contact for Epic Professional Billing application end-users.

Participate in training and educate end-users on the Epic Professional Billing application and related workflows.

Stay current with Epic technologies, obtain and maintain necessary Epic certifications.

Essential skills and qualifications :

Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Expertise in Epic's Professional Billing module, including charge router, work queue configuration, collection agency workflows, statement processing, benefit engine, and estimates.

Strong understanding of healthcare revenue cycle processes, medical billing codes, and insurance procedures.

Strong interpersonal relationship skills and effective communication skills (both oral and written).

Compensation :

$121,000-$150,000 per year
