• This hospital currently employs a Family Medicine Doctor who handles minimal pediatric cases; the majority are redirected to another facility nearby, resulting in significant revenue loss. They aim to establish a Pediatrics department to drive growth and revenue. Initially, they plan to hire one Pediatrician, with potential for 1 or 2 more as demand grows.
• The hospital, despite its critical access status, records a high volume of deliveries 700 last year, twice the average for a facility of its size.
