Job Title : Press Operator

Job Description

Join our team as a Cleanroom Press Operator, where you will play a crucial role in preparing and operating metal forming machinery to produce high-quality components. Your expertise will be pivotal in maintaining equipment and ensuring the quality of our products.

Responsibilities

• Always follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Prepare and operate metal forming machinery based on job instructions, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Inspect finished components to ensure they meet quality standards using established inspection methods.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment following Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) guidelines.
• Keep accurate records and complete required documentation.
• Evaluate and repair damaged sheet metal when it is cost-efficient.
• Update and modify sheet metal parts to reflect the latest design changes or engineering updates when feasible.
• Safely initiate, halt, and configure press brake machines for operation.
• Uphold 6S principles (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain, safety) across all work areas.
• Operate additional machinery as needed to support production.

Work Environment

The position is based in Norwood, OH, with openings for both 1st and 2nd shifts. The work environment emphasizes safety and cleanliness, with adherence to 6S principles. The hours are Monday to Friday, with voluntary overtime available on Saturdays. The role involves working in a cleanroom setting with the use of various machinery and equipment.
