Summary :
The Assistant Teacher, Associates Degree Level, assists teachers with the instructional program through individual / small group tutoring and / or directing classroom activities within a computer lab. The Assistant Teacher, Associates Degree Level, performs duties under the general supervision of an immediate supervisor who evaluates performance through observation of work, periodic conferences, critiques, and / or records and reports.

Mathematical Skills : Adds, subtracts, multiplies, and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Computes rate, ratio, and percent and draws and interprets bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability : Applies common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Deals with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
