Job Summary :
The Sales Engineer Defense EMS Quoting serves as a key technical and commercial resource within the Proposals Team responsible for developing accurate compliant and competitive manufacturing quotations for Defense and Aerospace customers. This position exercises independent judgment and discretion in analyzing complex technical data defining manufacturability parameters and coordinating cross-functional input to create executable and profitable bids.
Operating at the intersection of engineering supply chain and customer engagement this role ensures that each quote aligns with company capabilities industry standards and regulatory requirements. The Sales Engineer represents the organizations technical and operational expertise during pre-award phases helping shape customer perception and program success.

Qualifications :
Minimum 5 years of experience in Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) preferably within Defense or Aerospace sectors.
Deep understanding of PCBA manufacturing system integration and test methodologies.
Familiarity with IPC standards DFARS / ITAR requirements and controlled documentation practices.
Demonstrated experience preparing or supporting complex technical quotations or proposals.

Physical Requirements :
Ability to work at a computer or desk for extended periods.
Must be able to communicate clearly in person virtually and by phone.
Occasional movement within office or production areas as needed.
Ability to lift or carry light materials (up to approximately 20 lbs).
May require occasional travel to customer sites or company locations.
